DAY PROGRAM: Imagination Captured
You've taken the technique classes and the lighting classes and the sales classes - but what really feeds your soul?
Offering something unique is the best way to win the best clients and you have one thing that none of your competitors have – your own imagination. This class explores the nature of creativity and imagination.
Explore your own creativity to start making the work you want to create and your clients will want to print for their walls.
Learn what it means to be creative
Learn that imagination is a skill, not a talent.
Watch an editing session taking an original image from boring to creative.
When this class is complete, you will realize you are not a photographer, but an artist. When your passion is your work, your work is more genuine. Your clients will be attracted to that passion and you gain not just clients, but fans.
This class will have a demonstration of lighting, posing, and working with a subject. We will cover imagination and creativity as we create an image from concept to completion.
EVENING PROGRAM: Winning the Battle against Imposter Syndrome
We’ve all heard the inner voice whispering, “You’re not good enough” or “Soon they’ll find out you’re a fraud.” Impostor syndrome is one of the most common struggles artists and photographers face — and one of the least talked about. In this program, Brad Barton shares strategies to quiet that voice, build confidence, and create from a place of authenticity. You’ll learn practical tools to reframe doubt, celebrate growth, and step fully into your identity as an artist.
Bring note-taking materials, and laptop if you want to follow along with editing demos.
