Hampton Inn & Suites

5820 Katy Fwy,

Houston, TX 77007

DAY PROGRAM: Sports Media Day

Capturing an athlete at the top of his/her game is exciting and will push your creativity, skills, and gear. Creating where the sport is played adds storytelling to the images and film. Carlino’s Photography offers high school athletes a collegiate style, Media Day experience!

Join Alison for a brief lecture on the collections, products, marketing, & admin handled prior to photo day and then go on site to a local school as she runs a Media Day, both with the white screen for the purpose of compositing and graphic design and then onto the field/court for the Hero Stills & the Action Skills. See how the workflow of posing, lighting, and coaching athletes is handled. She will also capture behind the scenes video to produce a Hype Film.

 YOU’LL LEARN:

  • Marketing, collections, & products associated with Media Day & Sportraits

  • Workflow & Gear on the white & black screen on site

  • Workflow & Gear on court/field for action/stills

  • Coaching the athlete into a variety of poses

  • Capturing behind the scenes video that builds the Hype Film

 EVENING PROGRAM: Sportraits & Seniors

The Class of 2026 wants an experience when it comes to their Portrait & Sportrait Sessions. Your lighting, posing, products, and confidence need to produce a multimedia experience for these young adults. Alison will walk you through the marketing, location & clothing consult process, the on site posing, the lighting and modifiers used, how Carlino’s Photography uses AI in the editing process, and finish with showing off the products that are selling well.
